Physics is define as the study of matter, energy and their interactions
When we use the term physics it means that it relates to physical World not the imaginary World.
Here are some branches of Physics:
- Mechanics : the study of motion and forces
- Electronics : the study of behavior and control of electrons
- Electrodynamics : the study of electrically charged particles and their interactions with electromagnetic field
- Thermodynamics : the study of heat and energy transfer
- Solid State Of Physics : the study properties of solid structures
Electromagnetism: the study of electric and magnetic fields and their interactions with charged particles
Relativity: the study of the relationships between space, time, and gravity
- Quantum Physics : the study of the behavior of particles at the atomic and subatomic level
- Plasma Physics
Basically Plasma is the fourth state of matter that is made the different categories among all of these gas, liquid and solid states.
- In solids the particles are closely packed. when it heats it becomes liquid.
- In liquid the particles are loosely packed and spaced apart from each other. when it heats again it becomes gas.
- In gas the particles are too far from each other. when we heat the gas it becomes plasma.
- Plasma is the fourth state of matter and it comprises equal numbers of positive and negative charges.
The study of
physics involves the methods of mathematical relations and experimental methods
to develop theories and test them against observations and measurements. These
theories attempt to explain phenomena such as the motion of objects, the
behavior of electromagnetic waves, the nature of matter and energy, and the structure
and evolution of the universe.
Physics has
many practical applications in areas such as engineering, technology, medicine,
and materials science, and has led to many important discoveries and inventions
throughout history.
