Newton Laws of Motion

In this article we will discuss about the Newton Laws of motion. As we know that there are three laws of newton that is also known as the laws of motion.

Now we will discuss it briefly:

First Law of Motion:

It states that

A body at rest will remains at rest and a body at motion will remain at motion until no external force acts on it

 This law is also known as the name of  Law of Inertia.

Now what is inertia?

Inertia basically is the property that allows the body to be in that state until no external force acts on it.

The state may be rest or a uniform motion.

Example:

 Consider a football is placed at ground and that is at rest. The ball will remain at rest until an external force acts on it.

Second Law of Motion:

It states that

The acceleration of an object that is produced by the force is directly proportion to the magnitude of that force and inversely proportion to mass of the object

Mathematically:

F=ma

F = force

m = mass

a = acceleration

Example:

Consider again the example of football. When we apply the more power to hit the football then the acceleration that was produced also high. It means that more the force more the acceleration.

Third Law of Motion:

It states that

Every action has an equal but opposite reaction

This is the third law of motion and it simply tells us that every action that you put in an object then it will also return something backs to you but in opposite direction.

We say that when we apply a force on the wall then the wall itself apply the force back to us that was in opposite direction.

Example:

Consider again the example of football. When we hit the ball then the ball will go forward but it also applies some force to us that was so miner but opposite in the direction. The more you apply the force the more you will get the opposite reaction.
